(UPDATE: Thank you to all who participated in our fundraiser! With your generous contributions, we’ve managed to raise just over $1k+ worth of donations.)
In solidarity with the communities and families disproportionately affected by the pandemic in India, we are organising yoga + meditation sessions to raise awareness and channel help towards organisations in the country who are actively providing help to those in need. As regular consumers of Indian culture, we wanted to show up for the birth country of yoga and wellness. After all, we cannot profit off of the culture for free, without showing up for the real, living, gasping, human beings when they need us most. We have the privilege to contribute, so let’s show our support by pledging real donations.
The class will be led by Linda Hao, a Yoga Alliance certified Yoga Instructor trained in Ashtanga Vinyasa (Rishikesh, India 100h YTTC), Hatha & Yin (Koh Phangan, Thailand 200h YTTC). Find out more about the work Linda does at https://www.yesah.studio/soul
